Events - S&K's Annual Food Drive

Each year, S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows hosts and participates in many events around the Maryland and Virginia region. Some events are strictly business, some are purely fun and others are a little bit of both. Sign up to receive e-mails from S&K and you're assured of getting an invitation to our next event. Annual Food Drive to Benefit the Maryland Food Bank - November/December, 2011

Each holiday season beginning in early November, S&K holds our annual Food Drive to benefit the Maryland Food Bank. S&K staff members, vendors, partners and the local community all stop by our showroom to drop off their non-perishable food and household item donations. Just before Christmas, the team at S&K loads up the trucks and delivers the donations to the Maryland Food Bank to have it weighed. When the total is tallied, S&K then adds a monetary donation equal to $1 for every pound of food donated. To date, S&K has donated tons of food and more than $6,000 to the Maryland Food Bank.
