ELDERSBURG, MD. June 24, 2010 - S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows (SKRoofing.com), announced today the completion of a new pavilion roof at the Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine, Maryland. As a way to assist the farm in their efforts, the company installed the roof shingles at no charge.

"Days End Farm has served the community for 20 years," stated Don Katzenberger, owner of S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows. "They have a long-standing reputation for rescuing and rehabilitating horses, and preparing them to move to caring homes. We applaud their dedication and are pleased to have the opportunity to help."

The newly constructed 22' x 70' pavilion will be used for volunteer training, parties, picnics, cookouts and by groups like the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. A true community effort, the construction of the pavilion was completed by the Farm Operations Committee and volunteers, the shingles and roofing materials were donated by The Roof Center of Brentwood, Maryland, and the shingle installation was donated by S&K.

"As an organization that relies heavily on volunteers and donations, we are grateful to have built relationships with people like Don (Katzenberger)," said Days End Farm executive director Kathy Howe. "We're looking forward to putting the new pavilion to good use this summer and for many years to come."
