Visit S&K Roofing at the Howard County Fair!

This week we celebrate the 71st Annual Howard County Fair in West Friendship, Maryland. S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows has supported the Fair for many years with booths in the exhibit hall and active participation in the Friday night livestock auctions. We have also provided many of the buildings on the fair grounds with roofing and other improvements throughout the years.

S&K’s participation in the Howard County Fair stems from a love the county and its community by S&K owner, Don Katzenberger. As a child, Don grew up in Howard County and attended Glenelg High School. Many of Don’s friends were farmers and Don grew to love the country life. Today, Don and his family own their own farm with goats, chickens, geese and guinea fowl.

And as tradition has it, each year S&K places and ad in the HoCoMo Freddies newspaper supporting the Fair and the 4-H Programs in both Howard and Montgomery County, which features children who are members of the extended S&K family. This year’s ad features the children of S&K CFO Scott Hanel and his wife Stephanie.

This year, you will once again see S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows participating the Livestock Auction on Friday evening, August 12th. Come see us and the other great folks at the Howard County Fair!
