Serving the Northern Virginia region, S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows has a branch location and showroom in Sterling, VA. Opened in 2016, our Virginia team is quickly becoming one of the area’s most trusted exterior replacement contractors. Our Work

We offer maintenance-free exterior replacement solutions for homes and businesses in Maryland and Northern Virginia including roofing, siding, replacement windows, doors, skylights, gutters, decks, and attic insulation.

We also offer a number of services to property managers and commercial building contractors including roofing, siding, replacement windows and gutters.

We carefully choose the home improvement manufacturers that we represent to help ensure that your home improvement project will meet your high standards and ours, and last for many years.

Our history is rich in community support and we thrive on helping our customers and the community. Each year, we host and participate in various events and charitable giving programs around the region.

Our showroom and office is fully staffed Monday through Friday so you can get answers to your questions right away. Our consultants, master craftsmen, and crews are highly trained, and will provide you with honest assessments and estimates.

Over the years, the S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows team has grown from a 2-person operation in 1980 to a team of more than 35 full-time employees. Your needs, questions and concerns are addressed immediately and professionally from proposal request to job completion. Our History

In 1980, Don Katzenberger was a hard-working, ambitious young man. Having worked as a roofer in high school, when Don graduated he and a partner decided to start their own roofing company – S&K Roofing. The pair’s hard work, attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction quickly allowed them to add staff and contractors.

From 1980 to 2003, S&K Roofing had grown from a 2-person operation to a 20-person operation with revenue in excess of $8M. During that time period S&K also added services, including siding, windows, gutters and decks.

In 2001, S&K Roofing solidified their growing infrastructure and officially changed to S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows to better represent the company’s expanding services. It was then, too, that they decided to adopt the tag line, “Worry Free. Guaranteed.”

In 2006, S&K moved to a brand new building and showroom in Eldersburg, Maryland (Carroll County).

In 2008, S&K won their first Angie’s List Super Service Award, and has earned it each year since.

In 2009, S&K added blown-in attic insulation to their list of services to help their customers make their homes more energy efficient.

In 2016, S&K opened a branch office in Sterling, Virginia to better serve our growing number of customers in the Northern Virginia region.

In 2020, S&K celebrated our 40 year anniversary. Still family-owned and operated, still Worry Free. Guaranteed.

To date, S&K has worked on well over 100,000 projects.
